Transfeminine
Moving towards femininity from a male assignment at birth.
Transfeminine covers people assigned male at birth whose gender sits towards the feminine end — trans women, and also feminine non-binary people who don't identify as women.
It's broader than trans woman on purpose. Someone can be transfem and non-binary, transfem and agender, or transfem while still working things out.
As with transmasculine, it implies nothing about medical steps. Transfem people pursue hormones or surgery or neither, and are transfem throughout.
