The app is free while we build density. Charging for access to an empty room would be dishonest, and it would slow down the only thing that matters early on.

What will never cost money

Reading a message someone sent you. Blocking or reporting. Verification. Basic search and matching. These are either safety features or the product itself, and paywalling them is the pattern that makes dating apps hostile.

What we expect to charge for later

Optional things: seeing profiles in a city you're travelling to, a wider search radius, and the ability to see who liked you before matching. Nothing that affects your safety or your ability to have a conversation.
