No indexed profiles, instant blocking, reports read by people within a day.
Being visible online carries a different weight when you're trans. We'd rather state what we do than publish reassurance.
No profile is ever indexed
Every profile page carries noindex directives in both the page and the HTTP response. Search engines never see you. An outing by search result is not a risk we're willing to leave open, and it isn't a setting you have to find.
Blocking is total
Blocking removes someone from your view and you from theirs, immediately and permanently. No lingering visibility, no ghost profile, no reappearance next week under the same face.
Reports are read by people
Reports go to a person, not a queue, and get a decision within 24 hours. You're told what happened. We publish how many reports we received and what we did about them.
You can report a profile without joining
If a profile is using your face or your name and you are not a member here, you do not have to create an account to have it taken down. Write to hello@t4tspace.com. It is read by a person and decided on the same terms as a report sent from inside the app.
Deletion means deletion
One action removes your account and your data. Not a hidden flag on a row we keep, not a 30-day grace period we didn't mention. Gone.
Data we treat as sensitive
Gender identity is special category data under Article 9 of the GDPR, and we handle it that way: explicit consent, encryption at rest, a documented impact assessment, and no sharing with advertisers. Ever.
Where the app is not offered
In countries where the law or the police target trans people, we do not offer the Android app on Google Play, because an installed dating app can be found when a phone is searched. The website stays open there, and it is not risk-free. Where, why, and a few precautions.
Discretion on your phone
Neutral notifications already reduce what your lock screen shows, and the next Android version adds a lock for the app and a discreet icon. None of them hides the app from someone who searches your phone. What each option does, and what it does not hide.
