Where it comes from

The agender flag was designed by Salem X in 2014. Like the trans flag, it is symmetrical, with a single green stripe at its centre.

What agender means

Agender people experience themselves as having no gender, or as having a gender that is neutral or absent. It sits under the non-binary umbrella, and some agender people also use words such as genderless or gendervoid.

What not to ask

Agender people are asked, far too often, what gender they 'really' are, or what they were assigned at birth. Neither question is yours to ask. If you need to know how to refer to someone, ask for their pronouns and leave it there.
