The greyromantic flag takes the graysexual flag and replaces its purple with green, the colour of the aromantic spectrum. The earliest known post of the design dates from September 2014, on Tumblr. A university resource centre credits a different Tumblr user who posted it in March 2015, a user who wrote that the flags were not official. Who made it first is disputed.
What the colours mean
The meaning of the green is documented in both early posts: it links the flag to aromanticism. No meaning was given for the grey and white, which are usually read the same way as on the graysexual flag.
