Panromantic means feeling romantic attraction without gender being what decides it. It is the romantic counterpart of pansexual, and like biromantic it is written separately because romantic and sexual orientation do not always agree.
The distinction from biromantic is the same one that separates pansexual from bisexual: biromantic describes the range, panromantic describes the role gender plays. They overlap heavily and plenty of people use both.
Panromantic asexual is one of the most common combinations on the ace spectrum, and it is a good illustration of why the two axes are written separately at all.
Panromantic does not mean falling for everyone
Not being decided by gender is not the same as being drawn to all people. Panromantic people have types, preferences and very short lists, like everyone else.
