Where it comes from
The large-heart biromantic flag was published in May 2016 by Pride-Flags, a DeviantArt account that collects and redraws pride flags. The post names no individual designer. The colours and their meanings come from the bisexual flag designed by Michael Page in 1998.
Other versions
A few weeks earlier, the same account published a different version: the bisexual flag with a small heart in the top corner, which some sites present as the main biromantic flag. Many biromantic people simply fly the bisexual flag.

Biromantic describes romantic attraction to more than one gender. The word is used most by people who experience romantic and sexual attraction differently, for example asexual people, who may be biromantic without being bisexual.
