Taimi

Taimi is published by Social Impact Inc. and calls itself a fully inclusive LGBTQ+ dating app where people of all genders and sexualities can meet. Its App Store listing names gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans, non-binary, asexual and polyamorous people, and it is for adults 18 and over.

That is the most important thing to know about it. Taimi is a general queer app in which trans and non-binary people are one audience among several. Whether that suits you depends on what you are looking for.

Who it is for

Everyone across the LGBTQ+ spectrum, and the listing says so plainly: everyone is welcome to join. Cis gay, lesbian and bisexual people are part of the audience alongside trans and non-binary people.

Taimi's page on trans dating says it works to keep chasers disguised as trans-oriented men at bay, without describing how. Its listing also offers matching and filters by gender identity, with premium filters in the paid tier.

Verification

The App Store listing says every profile is verified. The help centre is more precise: it strongly recommends photo verification, and verified users get a blue checkmark next to their name. We read that as optional verification shown as a badge. The photos sent for it are not shown to other members, and Taimi does not say whether a person or software reviews them.

Reporting and blocking

You report someone from their profile, where you can also block them, and you choose a category for the report. Taimi's moderation policy says reports are reviewed manually by a person, that its moderation team works around the clock in more than ten countries, and that you are notified when a report is received. It publishes no response time, and it says it does not run criminal background checks.

Privacy

Stealth mode hides your profile from discovery except to people you like, and the help centre says it is free for everyone. Taimi's website says screenshots are blocked on profiles, and private cards let you share photos and posts only with people you allow. Setting a custom location is a paid feature. We found nothing about hiding your distance or disguising the app icon.

What costs money

Taimi is free to download and use, and sells a subscription called Taimi Premium. The listing names premium filters, seeing your visitors, unlimited likes, profile preferences and custom location as paid.

On the US App Store on 18 September 2026, the in-app purchases were listed as Bronze at $0.99, $3.99 and $4.99, Silver at $3.49 and $11.99, Gold at $8.49, $9.99, $21.99 and $34.99, and a Gold subscription at $16.99. Neither the store nor Taimi's billing page says which duration goes with which price, so we are not turning those figures into a monthly cost. Prices also differ by country.

Platforms

iOS through the App Store and Android through Google Play. Taimi's own download page says it is not available as a web app.

Our read

Taimi makes sense if you want one large app for the whole queer spectrum, and its free stealth mode is a real privacy option. It makes less sense if what you want is specifically other trans people, because the door is open to everyone and verification is recommended rather than required.
