If you are looking for Transdr, the app now trades as Translr under Translr Limited and is rated 18+. The App Store entry that Transdr used carries the Translr name, which is how we are confident this is a rename rather than a different product.

We are covering it under its old name because that is the name people still search for, and being sent to a page that does not mention the rename is not useful to anyone.

Who is admitted

Translr's listing is the most explicit of the five about admirers. It describes itself as a space built for the transgender community and those who admire and support it, and lists its intended audience as trans women and trans men, non-binary and gender-fluid people and explorers, crossdressers and sissy identities and admirers, and LGBTQ+ friends and allies aged 18 or over.

We are not going to editorialise about that list beyond one observation, which is a matter of record rather than opinion: an app that names admirers as a target audience has decided what kind of app it is. If that is what you want, this is transparent about offering it. If it is the exact thing you are trying to get away from, you now know before you install it.

Safety tools

The listing describes profile and video verification, 24/7 moderation with a stated zero-tolerance position on harassment, real-time protection from unwanted messages, and a way to see which users have completed face authentication.

A visible verification marker is genuinely useful — it moves some of the guesswork off you. We have not tested how the moderation performs, and public reviews of the app are mixed, which is worth knowing but is not something we can verify either way.

What costs money

Two things at once, which is unusual here. On the US App Store on 21 August 2026, VIP membership was listed at $14.99 for one month, $29.99 for three months and $49.99 for six months. Separately, coin packs were listed at $1.99 for 50, $2.99 for 100, $4.99 for 200 and $7.99 for 500.

These are the only durations any of the five apps actually published, so they are the only per-month figures on this page we can state with confidence. A coin currency alongside a subscription usually means some individual actions are metered; the listing does not say which, and we have not tested it.

Platforms

iOS via the App Store. An Android build exists and a Google Play listing appears to be present under the package name com.transgenderdating.transhookup.transd, but our check of that listing returned incomplete data, so we are recording it as unverified rather than asserting it.

Our read

Translr is straightforward about being an app where admirers are welcome, and it publishes clearer pricing than its competitors. Both of those are points in favour of knowing what you are getting. Whether what you are getting is what you want is the whole question.
